Focus The Nation

What is Focus the Nation?

Focus the Nation: Global Warming Solutions for America is organizing the biggest national teach-in in US history, engaging millions of young people, faculty, staff and citizens in a focused day of discussion about the urgent need to cut global warming pollution 80% by 2050, and to rewire the entire planet with clean energy technologies. The development of renewable energy solutions will create millions of jobs, and lay the foundation for a just, sustainable and prosperous future.

Across the country, people are looking for simple, effective ways to reduce their own carbon footprints and help move us toward a clean energy future. Focus the Nation leaders and participants are already riding their bikes, using public transportation, and driving hybrids. They are conserving energy at home, eating local, and buying less stuff.

Here's a new opportunity to move even closer to carbon neutral.

You can help build the Focus the Nation wind turbine!

With NativeEnergy you can join thousands of others to reduce and offset your CO2 footprint and help bring one more new wind turbine on line this year. The Focus the Nation wind turbine - a 40kW wind turbine on the Williamson Family Farm in Rosedell Township, MN - will displace electricity from fossil fuels and reduce other greenhouse gas emissions on your behalf, balancing out - or neutralizing - the CO2 emissions you can't avoid.
