NativeEnergy is the exclusive offset provider for the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) conference on September 1 and 2 in Chicago, Illinois. The UK Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) has approved “Become a Certified CSR Practitioner,” which is the first course providing accredited CSR certification offered internationally.

The challenging two-day course, offered for the first time in the United States, enables participants to acquire the skills required to become qualified CSR practitioners.

Mary Panks-Holmes, a senior consultant with NativeEnergy who will be participating at the workshop, says, “This session will be valuable to CSR and sustainability professionals representing organizations in all stages along the path to sustainability.”

By attending this workshop, participants will:

  • Become qualified CSR practitioners, awarded with a professional certificate recognized by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), one of the largest non-profit certifying bodies in the field of Environmental Management
  • Be proficient in the principles of sustainability and be able to develop and implement comprehensive corporate responsibility and sustainability strategies and reports using established international models
  • Be introduced to what is needed to promote change and lead an organization towards sustainability
  • Learn how to work effectively with stakeholders
