Throughout the next couple of weeks, NativeEnergy is involved with several events. Just to let you know what we are up to, here is a quick overview of some of the events we are participating in by offsetting their carbon footprint.

Aspen Environmental Forum - This past weekend, the 2010 Aspen Environmental Forum took place in Colorado. For the second year in a row, NativeEnergy sponsored the participants attending this event by offsetting their travel footprint. The Aspen Environmental Forum discusses a broad range of topics, from climate change to renewable energy policy, from innovation to natural resource conservation.

EnlightenNext Forum - This weekend, July 30-31, NativeEnergy is offsetting the carbon pollution resulting from attendees’ travel to the EnlightenNext event. We are also offsetting emissions resulting from operation of the venue itself. EnlightenNext is an organization that describes itself as “dedicated to catalyzing evolution in consciousness and culture. We strive to be leaders, examples, and pathfinders in the emerging field of integral and evolutionary spirituality, and to stand for the ultimate relevance of spiritual enlightenment in our time.”

AREDay - In three weeks, on August 19-22, the 7th Annual AREDay Conference is taking place in Aspen, Colorado. NativeEnergy is offsetting all of the carbon emissions associated with this event. Since 2004, American Renewable Energy Day has been bringing leaders and educators together to promote rapid deployment of renewable energy and energy efficient strategies.” AREDay founder Chip Comins says, “The conference features dynamic discussion with Ted Turner, T. Boone Pickens, James Cameron, and over 80 other nationally prominent leaders on how to implement a new clean economy at speed and scale."

Do you have event coming up? Would you like to offset some or all of its carbon footprint? If so get in touch with us. We would welcome the opportunity to help you and your attendees take one more step towards carbon neutrality.
