At Traveler's Joy Honeymoon Registry, we love helping our Members take their dream honeymoon. Unfortunately, the emissions from fossil fuels are threatening many of the places we travel to for these unique and memorable experiences. In many cases, one round-trip flight emits more CO2 than an automobile does in a year.
Traveler's Joy is partnering with NativeEnergy Travel Offsets to contribute in the fight against global warming. We are offsetting the carbon dioxide emissions generated by our company's operations and business travel to help finance and build new renewable energy projects. Funding these projects will displace electricity from fossil fuels and reduce other greenhouse gas emissions, making up for the CO2 emissions that cannot be avoided in our daily operations.
We encourage you to join us in increased carbon consciousness by offsetting your honeymoon. It's simple: Input your travel destination and mode of travel (plane, train, automobile). Based on the distance and mode of travel, it will calculate a contribution that will "offset" your CO2 footprint and help build a new renewable energy project.
